About the role

If you recognize yourself, this role could be for you. Join our Site Solutions & Health Sciences unit within Environment & Health as our new Environmental Coordinator and help us in our work towards a sustainable future.
Your new position
As our new experienced consultant, you will be part of our growing business within Environment & Health. In Sweden, we are nearly 170 experts in the field, and through our global service areas, we drive and coordinate technology to learn from each other and take on the most challenging projects. In the role of environmental coordinator for large projects, you have the opportunity to connect with our global colleagues in areas such as data centers.

Ramboll has a strong external training program driven by our employees, which we also use for internal development. We work with a hybrid solution where we are present in the office at least 3 days a week, with the possibility to work from home for those who wish for the remaining time.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Conducting audits of environmental and sustainability practices and ensuring compliance with legislation and other requirements
- Conducting environmental risk assessments and investigations
- Ensuring compliance with control programs
- Participating in internal audits
- Supporting the business in environmental issues, risk assessments, and chemical management
- Monitoring that the client's contractors fulfill contractual obligations/request for proposals
- Engaging in dialogues with stakeholders such as supervisory authorities
- Reporting deviations against applicable control programs, laws, regulations, directives, etc.
About you
When you become a part of Ramboll, we will do our best to support you in your personal and professional development. To succeed in this role, we believe you have:
- At least 5 years of experience as an environmental coordinator, environmental control, or site monitoring.
- Solid experience within the Environmental Code
- Strong communication skills and express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English
- Relevant higher education such as civil engineer, environmental engineer, environmental scientist, natural scientist, or equivalent
- Driving license B
- We consider it an advantage if you have experience in monitoring environmental requirements in contracts
